WHAT IS A SUBCODE?

Anything within "quotation marks" can be texted to 767825 to make a purchase or receive information ). We call these subcodes. T hey never have spaces, and they are not case sensitive, so "ALTERwalletBLACK" is the same as "alterwalletblack." You don't need to include the quotation marks in your text.

Many subcodes are used for purchasing products. When you text a subcode to 767825 (spells PORTAL on most keypads), we will charge your credit card and the vendor will ship your product. Other times, you'll send a subcode and be emailed a digital download of an mp3, a lookbook, or some other sort of content. It should be pretty clear what you're getting based on the context of the subcode.

PortalMRKT is the Subports online marketplace. All the vendors use Subports, and we think they're all pretty phenomenal folks. You should have a look around. Selling by text message allows us to get rid of all that clumsy shopping cart stuff, and keep our sites looking beautiful.

CAN I GET A GIFT AND SHIP IT TO A DIFFERENT ADDRESS THAN THE ONE I HAVE ON FILE?

At the moment, Subports only allows for one shipping address on file for security reasons. You're always free to change your shipping address by logging into your account, then place a text message to purchase your object.

Most of our vendors are easy to communicate directly with, as well, if you have special requests and instructions. They're contact info will be in the confirmation email sent as soon as you buy something.

HOW DO I CHANGE MY PROFILE AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION?

Easy! Log in using the button on the top right of the home page.

WHAT IS UP WITH THAT TRASHCAN?

When we first started doing retail experiments on the street, we started having people sign up with Subports on a computer in a clean white trashcan. We've had an unhealthy obsession with the objects ever since.
